Welcome New Customers! If you are thinking of coming to visit us for the first time here are a few things you may want to know:
We pride ourselves on our customer service. We know that entering a stone merchants yard can seem a little daunting if you aren’t in the trade. That is why whichever yard you visit our staff will greet you with a friendly smile.
Our small but well trained team will offer help and advice on paving and products, and answer any questions you have regarding product choice, availability and delivery. If you just came for a browse and a little inspiration we will leave you to it, just let us know if you need us, we wont be far away.
Which yard should I visit Leeds or York? Do both yard carry the same stock?
Our Leeds Yard is more of a traditional builders merchant and if you want very detailed technical advice regarding building materials then this is the best yard to visit. We stock new and reclaimed walling, coping and paving in this yard. Our Leeds staff can answer most building enquiries with no problem.
Choosing a new patio or driveway? We have a great paving display of all our paving options natural sandstone, limestone, slate, and porcelain paving. Samples and available of most products for you to take home.
We will buy your old patio stone. We reclaim Indian paving. Rather than dispose of your old patio to landfill sell it in part exchange to us. We lift and collect and offer a credit against new patio stone or products. So when you are planing a garden refurb consider this option, your save with us, and save the planet a little too, twice the feel good factor! Twice a winner!

Looking for Yorkstone for a hearth? Measure up then pay us a visit in Leeds, you can pick out the piece of Yorkstone you’d like and we will cut it to size. Any other bespoke items house plaques for example Leeds is your yard.
Leeds is also the yard to visit if you wish to buy or sell Yorkstone Paving flags. We are always needing Yorkstone paving and will arrange a viewing to make an offer for what you have to sell. Ask for Dane or Glen, when you enter the yard.
Reasons to visit our York yard
Our York Yard stocks all our products, here you will find everything else that you can see on our website: stone planters and troughs, benches and seating, yorkstone birdbaths, large garden statues, waterfeatures, monoliths and decorative spheres, and lots more besides, all beautiful natural stone products that we make or commission ourselves.
We are more than a traditional builders merchants if you are looking for something special but you have no idea what it is, good chance you will find it here. What can I say, we are Well Stoned! This is a very well stocked yard, full of interesting and colourful stone items, children are welcome under parental supervision and dogs too. Please keep children to the pathway and hold their hands. Likewise please keep dogs on a short lead, and keep to the pathway. For their safety.
Where is our York yard? Inside Vertigrow Garden Centre. New to Vertigrow too? We are on the A64 Malton Road by the Highwayman Cafe (look out for our large temple lions) you cant miss it!
